Social Impact Leadership Australia (SILA) aims to advance the capability of for-purpose leaders, organisations and ecosystems for a better civil society.

The flagship initiative of the Sidney Myer Fund and The Myer Foundation's people strategic pillar SILA is a partnership with Paul Ramsay Foundation and the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation and is delivered by the Centre for Social Impact at UNSW.

Now in its second year, SILA offers a series of leadership retreats, a tailored sabbatical and support for organisations and step-up leaders. The second cohort of 24 leaders, from organisations across Victoria and Tasmania, has been announced by CSI, and will join the first retreat in September 2022.

"The reflection on systems helped me to think about our potential to impact change and the need to work with others to increase this potential.”

In future years SILA will be made available to for-purpose leaders and organisations around the country.
