The Sidney Myer Fund has joined with Gandel Foundation, Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation, The Ian Potter Foundation and Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation to support a collaborative grants round enlivening the findings of research looking at the social and arts sectors innovative responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, and their need for further adaptation.
The grants round invited applications from collaborations of for-purpose organisations. Following an expression of interest process six shortlisted applicants received grants of $15,000 each to support the development of their collaborative approaches.
Three collaborative initiatives sharing in $2 million in grants are:
Good Deliveries - Good Cycles Limited with Fruit2Work and Brotherhood of St Laurence
Grant: $500,000 over two years
Choose Your Career Program - Victorian YMCA Youth & Community Services Inc (ReBuild) with Green Collect
Grant: $750,000 over three years
Tech Connect Queensland - Queensland Performing Arts Centre with the Stage Queensland Network and Victorian Arts Centre Trust
Grant: $750,000 over three years
