Australia’s special geographic position creates both opportunities and challenges for economic, cultural, religious, health, environmental and social developments between Australia and its Asia-Pacific neighbours.  We seek to promote the values of respect and dignity in our respective societies, and to highlight the multifaceted connections between Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

LARGE GRANTS PROGRAM

The priority areas for the Beyond Australia Large Grants Program are as follows:

Building of Australian competency and knowledge about Muslims and Islam, with a specific     focus on Indonesia Papua New Guinea

However, please note that we have identified a range of projects for each of these areas and are fully committed to the development of these exciting opportunities for the next 3 - 5 years.
