Education

A funding program of the Sidney Myer Fund

Education is the most basic necessity after those that are crucial to life itself. Investment in education results in improvements in knowledge and competencies, and in economic and cultural development, both for the individual and for society.

We believe that education is a crucial tool in reducing poverty, promoting sustainable practices, developing self expression, and promoting a just and civil society.  Through education, people can build a world that is sustainable, is innovative, and builds strong communities.
